Joining the CBSO will be Dame Evelyn Glennie, Nao Masuda - Japanese Taiko and world-renowned dressage composer, Tom Hunt. In a technologically ground-breaking concert, audiences will experience both classical and world music and will explore music visually through Visual Vernacular (VV) performances and creative captioning.

The concert will feature an action-packed programme; Dame Glennie and Nao Masuda will open with a fanfare inspired improvised piece. She will also perform a custom composition, ‘East and West’. There will be performances of Para-Equestrian Laurentia Tan’s previous competition pieces and iconic classical tracks.

To demonstrate the immense skill of deaf riders worldwide, as the BCSO perform ‘La Peregrinacion’ American dressage star, Dana Keith, and her horse, Serafina, will perform their dance from her base in Oklahoma, USA.

This promises to be a truly eye-opening experience that reimagines what a traditional concert is, and is one that should not be missed.
