Bryony Parkes, Trustee
Bryony, who is Deaf, is an avid supporter and believer in the value and importance of music being a meaningful part of everybody's life.
She has lived experience in both the performing and creative art industries due to playing the Clarinet and Piano for many years, dabbing in acting plus running a photography business. This has led to a passion for promoting that expectations of what Deaf people can access and do should be much higher.
Alongside study towards a Masters degree and significant operational experience in the charity sector at the National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS) and more recently SignHealth, engaging with Deaf young people, strategy and project planning, Bryony is really excited to be able to contribute to the future of Audiovisability.
